Description
Photograph of Madera School, showing crowd at entrance, ca.1900. In the background, a small metal fence can be seen dividing the school grounds from the brush in the foreground. In the background at center, a massive structure can be seen with a large crowd of men and women at its entrance. The building is almost entirely rectangular in structure, except for a tall tower-like structure extending above the main entrance. The entryway is arched and flanked by decorative columns.
